thequeensprofessionalMichael Andrew Draper was raised by his parents, Reginald and Margaret Draper, to follow in their and his grandfather's footsteps, to be an agent of the British Empire and protect her from foreign enemies. The Drapers have been spies since before there was an official agency, and Michael's grandfather Sebastian was one of the founders of MI6. He raised his daughter to follow in the family business, and once Margaret had found a suitable husband in the agency, they produced Michael.
Michael's childhood games involved learning how to use dead drops and codes, how to infiltrate heavily guarded buildings without being caught, target practice with pistols and rifles, learning multiple languages (he's fluent in a dozen, conversational in as many) and overall how to be the best spy that there had ever been. And it worked.
But as a result Michael comes across to other agents as cold and reserved, rarely making friends, preferring to pore over files and reports instead of going out to a pub. His parents were rarely affectionate, and he's learned to keep most at arm's length. He's excellent at establishing emotional connections with targets, but is awkward at best when it comes to real relationships. It doesn't help that his parents made it extremely clear that if his "proclivities" were ever made public, or if he brought disgrace to the family, he would not only be disowned, but ruined. That's just what happens when your parents have connections or dirt with some of the most powerful people in Europe.
For rp purposes, Michael is very gay, but also pretty closeted. Kinks-wise he's submissive, but he's perfectly find with enforcing his boundaries, thanks. He submits because he chooses to, and anyone that he trusts enough to scene with had better keep that in mind. His kink list is here if you're interested in knowing.
